Andy Ripley is the most popular and most talented player “Mr. Talented-Andy Ripley” in the world of Rugby Sport died yesterday, at the age of 62, after fighting with cancer.
Ripley, also known as “Rips”, was a product of England. Andy was very energetic and very active in the field of rugby during his time. Five (5) years ago when he became a victim of prostate cancer but he was able to manage to fight back against the disease until lately that he could no longer resist the penetration of the cancer cells in his body that led to death. Prior to his death, he ran a campaign for creating awareness against cancer.
Ripley is, maybe, the most loved person in the Rugby Union most especially in his time. He made England won 24 caps and no. eight (8) in the year 1970s. He was also recognized as the national player of England in the 400m hurdle race. That was a great record in the England sport history.
