June 14, 2010-California state was struck by a magnitude 4.9 earthquake with an epicenter near the California-Mexico border specifically in Ocotillo, California. The quake was influenced by two separate small quakes underground that was expecting to do several aftershocks. The US geographical agency already informed the local government to do preparation for the possible bigger quakes to happen in the next hours.

People near the coastline are warned for possible tsunami that will hit the shore. Although, there are no injuries or damages has been reported but the authorities has warned the public to be prepared in whatever incident to happen today or tomorrow.

Earlier this year, two persons were killed from the last 7.2 earthquake magnitude near the Mexico border last April 2010. That could happen again anytime in anywhere in the Californian countries that’s why authorities warned all the people.
