Looking for Everything in Budget? Make the most of your Piso, the Piso Saving Tips

Everything in Budget!

In time of crises, budgeting is the first in your mind. If possible, everything you buy must be within your budget. Everything in Budget! All basic commodities are getting expensive very fast while the value of your peso in getting cheaper at a very fast rate as well. Budgeting is a hard thing to do when these things happen.

How to make the most of your peso? Included below are the tips how to save your peso while getting the benefit of budgeting.

Misconception of budgeting is that, people use the word budgeting or do budgeting is when their money is tight. They need to divide their money evenly and allocate the amount to their top priorities. In my own point of view, budgeting does not only focus on allocating or dividing your fund to things you need to acquire or things you must have when your monetary fund is very tight. Budgeting must be done at any time to get most of your money whether it s small of big.

What is budgeting?

Budgeting, in a simple definition, is the proper allocation of your monetary resources for future use and economic forecast. Budgeting is not only used in household but also in any business establishment and government agencies.

What must be included in your budget?

Every individual has different priorities. Every individual has different wants and needs. Primarily, you must include in your budgeting plan your needs. Put your needs the first priority when you make your budget.

Needs vs Wants

Needs are the things that you need daily such as:

  • Food
  • Shelter
  • Water
  • Clothes
  • Transportation-if you are commuting everyday
  • Electricity
  • Communication

Other than the things mentioned above are all wants. Wants are the things that you might need daily but are less important. Needs are the things that you must have in order to survive in a daily basis.

TIPS to SAVE your money-the peso:

Everything in budget! To make most of your money valuable, you can follow the tips below.

Save you money when buying food.

  • Do not go to Mall Super Market unless they are on sale-Mall Super Markets normally expensive. The prices are fixed. You can bargain the price once it is stuck on the item such as vegetables, fruits, canned goods, noddles, etc.
  • Choose the fresh ones. For fruits and vegetables, you can easily spot between stale and fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not buy the stale ones even if they are cheap. Stale fruits and vegetables are not healthy. You will just waste your penny on it if you buy them.
  • See the expiration and manufactured date on the label of any canned goods, noodles, bread, etc. Expiration date is very important to avoid getting products that are about to expire. Expired goods can cause worse health problem that instead of saving money, you spend even a lot more.
  • Choose only the healthy ones. See to it that the foods you are buying are palatable and that everyone in your household could eat. Taking healthy foods means a having a healthy body-saving money.
  • Follow the food pyramid. Buy more fruits and vegetable while less meat and dairy products. Diseases are easily acquired from meat and other meat products.
  • If possible, avoid buying foods with preservatives. Foods with preservatives can also cause possible health problems.

Save your money by keeping healthy.

Keeping healthy = saving money

If someone is healthy, he/she saves money actually. To keep you body healthy, basically you need to eat healthy food as food is the number one factor that affects someone’s health. Additional to food is exercise. Exercising can boost you immune system and make you stay healthy. Have a regular exercise (daily or weekly basis).

Save your money on Sales

You are probably a mall goer or a traveler. Malls always have sales. Monthly, bi-monthly, daily, weekly, yearly or quarterly basis. Try to visit your favorite mall on weekend, or at any time you want and see what you can buy. Clothes, toys for your children, gift items, books, magazines, electronic gadgets, etc. They are all available in the mall. Go to the mall when they have SALE. Usually, the sale is up to 90% off. When you see items on sale and that you need them and you have the budget, buy them. They might not be offered next time.

Save your money on Online Promos and Sales
