Today’s Google front page is very eye catching as it shows the picture of the human’s first spaceflight and the father of the space-flight Yuri Gagarin on his spacesuit.

Very interesting that humankind was able to circulate the world in about 108 minutes using a Vostok Capsule which is also the first in the history of space and astronomy. Yuri Gagarin come from Russia and lived from 9 March 1934 – 27 March 1968. April 12 2011 is the 50th year of his journey to the outer space from April 12, 1961 but unfortunately was not the first to reach the earth’s natural satellite, Moon. Gagarin is certainly an icon in the space and astronomy. As Soviet Union pilot and cosmonaut, Yuri bravely faced the biggest challenge in the human race on his time to orbit the earth. It was later followed by some US astronauts and later on human was able to reach the Moon. It was a great inspiration for everyone.

Nowadays, encircling the earth is not impossible just like before. Latest planes and jets can encircle the world easier and even faster than before.
