Google announces the latest Google android tablet operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich.

Ice Cream Sandwich is the next Google Android Operating System name which will still maintain a single User Interface that will allow application developers create both devices in one motion. The said OS will follow Android 3.1 to the Motorola Xoom tablet and Google TV.

Along with the announcement, Google said that this OS will remain an open source including the APIs to accommodate different mobile application and features such as resizable widget within the application launcher.

Ice Cream Sandwich has only one motive: to put a stop to having dozens different versions of Android on devices out in the market.

Google Ice Cream Sandwich will not only be used in cellphones but also in tables and PCs.

Google’s goal in producing this latest Android Operating System is to allow this OS run in any devices.
