Employees are asking if the said date is a Regular Holiday as what the usual thing that happened in the past years during the Arroyo Administration when all holidays were adjusted when they fall on the weekends.

Presidential Spokesman, Edwin Lacierda said that May 2 is a regular working day and the employees shall be paid based on the regular daily salary rate. Labor Day is celebrated on Sunday, May 1.
