After the two Idol finalists rendered their individual finale songs on the 2-round face-off, voting for the favorite idol has started Tuesday night. The people have to tell who the favorite idol through voting is.
So far, Jessica has garnered the most number of votes all over the world via online, text, and call voting.

Back to the final showdown on Tuesday night, Ryan Seacrest, the show host announced Jessica as powerhouse and Phillip as a crooning pawnshop worker. Both Idol finalists sang three songs each which really impressed everybody.
Round One:
Sanchez chose Whitney Houston’s hit “I Will Always Love You” while Phillips sang “IStand By Me” of Ben E. King’s.

Round Two:
If round one was for Jessica, what about the round two?
Jessica sang “The Prayer” by Josh Groban. This song was once sung by her that brings her to the top 24. The performance was so nice and this enough reason why should she be the next American Idol winner. It seems that this round is again for Jessica but Phillip has to overcome this round and should perform his best to get the next Idol title.
Phillip’s “Movin’ Out” by Bill Joel seems a very good rendition to praise the original singer. The performance was lovely and was good enough to show he deserves to be the winner instead of Jessica. Though there was “facial expressions” that was weird but if you sing the same song and feel the message of it, you would probably do the same.
In this round, the judges gave favor on Phillip’s rendition. Steven is a little not impressed with his performance but Jennifer gave him the favor.
Round Three:
The last and final round for this showdown to be the winner of AI season 11, Jessica sang “Change Nothing” which was really impressive and indeed, Judge Randy said he now love the song he did not love before. Jessica has done it. The song has made something to him; the same with Jennifer who was also surprised of the performance.
Two votes are in favor of Jessica in this round as Steven did not agree, Sanchez has chosen the right song for this round.
Phillip on the other hand, enjoyed his song, “Home.” Does it mean, Phillip is going home without the AI trophy? Just be fair with Phillip’s performance, this round is for him. All the judges gave positive comments on his performance: Perfect, true artist, the delivery was so unique.
