All Filipino workers in the Philippines, I am sure that you want to know the latest minimum wage update. Minimum wage is set by the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC), a government agency assigned to monitor and maintain the workers productivity every now and then. NWPC believes that man power is the core of the country’s economy and the workers should be well compensated to be able to sustain their daily expenses and have a little savings.
Minimum wage is set per province, meaning to say, minimum wages is controlled and determined based on the cost of living in a certain province. For example, minimum wage in NCR or Manila is higher than that of the other provinces.
