People will just call Union Bank and give to the customer’s service representative their Union Bank account and GCash mobile number to activate the feature. Once the Union Bank and GCash account are linked, just text G2U<amount> and send to 2318 to send fund from GCash to Union Bank or text U2G<amount> to 2318 to send money from Union Bank to GCash. Union Bank to GCash is charged P10.00 while GCash to Union Bank is P7.50. A customer is allowed to transfer from either account up to only P40,000.00 daily based on the Banko Sentral guidelines.

  1. Called Unionbank’s customer service sucks… I called to give my gcash and unionbank details, but I was placed on hold 80% of the time. Argh!!!!
