March 2026 LET Board Exam Results

The wait is finally over for thousands of aspiring educators across the Philippines. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the results of the March 2026 Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT), and the data reveals a promising trend for the future of the Philippine education system.

At PPESO, we believe that every licensed teacher is a cornerstone of nation-building. Let’s dive into the numbers and see what this year’s results tell us about the state of teaching today.

The Results by the Numbers

This year’s examination, conducted across 40+ testing centers nationwide, saw a remarkable turnout and performance.

  • Elementary Level: 21,967 out of 43,035 examinees passed (51.04% passing rate).

  • Secondary Level: 57,729 out of 79,493 examinees passed (72.62% passing rate).

Comparatively, the Secondary level passing rate has seen a significant jump from the 62.27% recorded in March 2025, suggesting a higher level of preparation or a shift in the difficulty and relevance of the examination modules.

Topnotchers: A Win for Cebu

Cebu Normal University (CNU) dominated the top spots this year, proving its status as a premier institution for teacher education:

  • Elementary Topnotcher: Christel Zamora De Los Reyes (CNU) – 94.40%

  • Secondary Topnotcher: Jed Vincent Requilme Abadia (CNU) – 94.80%

These high scores reflect the rigorous academic standards being maintained in our top-performing teacher education institutions.

What’s Next for New LPTs?

To all the new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs), your journey is just beginning. Here are your next steps according to the PRC:

  1. Online Registration: Appointments for your Professional ID and Certificate of Registration must be made through the PRC official portal.

  2. Oath-Taking: Keep an eye out for announcements regarding the face-to-face mass oath-taking or the virtual option.

  3. Required Documents: Ensure you have your Notice of Admission (NOA), completed Oath Form, passport photos with name tags, and documentary stamps ready.

The PPESO Perspective

The influx of nearly 80,000 new licensed teachers is a breath of fresh air for our schools. However, becoming an LPT is more than just passing a board exam—it’s about continuous growth.

As you transition from "examinee" to "educator," remember that the classroom is where the real learning begins. We encourage all new passers to stay updated with modern pedagogical tools, digital literacy, and classroom management techniques to meet the challenges of the 21st-century learner.

Congratulations to all the March 2026 LET Passers! The future of the Filipino youth is in your hands.
