Education, amidst the covid-19 pandemic, faces a tough struggle in its pursuit of facilitating learning in the acquisition of knowledge and skills as well as inculcating values for lifelong purposes, as such, to nourish for a sustainable development.
Herewith, the Philippine educational system under the umbrella of the Department of Education acknowledges its preparation for a “better version” from its experience of implementing distance education for one school year since the pandemic still has no end in sight. The engagement of modules as one of the solutions chosen in order to continue the learning instruction of students has created a surge of uncertainties, disdain, and sarcasm as there were significant errors found in the modules.
It is just proper that a thorough collaboration stands firm to pave the way for a quality assessment. After all, as Nikki Giovanni quoted, “Mistakes are a fact of life. It is the response to error that counts.”
