OFW Wins P13M in Dubai-based Lottery, Mahzooz
A Dubai based OFW or Overseas Filipino Worker is one of the two lucky winners of 1 Million Dirhams or equivalent to approximately 13,000,000 pesos on the 27th Mahzooz draw last May.
Ronald from the Philippines works as a delivery driver for a cake shop in Dubai and is working as OFW in Dubai for 10 years.
The winning players matched 5 out of the 6 digit on their tickets. Ronald and the other winner are the 8th and 9th Mahzooz millionaires in 2021.
The lucky OFW has been participating in the raffle since day one and never lost hope. He could not believe he became a millionaire this year.
“I always knew my lucky day would come and when it came on Saturday, I couldn’t believe it. When I saw that my numbers matched, I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep. I even had to check my blood pressure the next morning! I never thought that I’d become a millionaire but now I know for sure that everything in life is possible.”
Ronald is 38 years old and is planning to get married and build a house for his mother back in the Philippines.
He also want to help his family most especially brother always helps him to get to college and even to go abroad.
“I can finally buy land for my mother so she can build her dream home,” said Roland. “I also want to help out my brother. Ever since I was little, he’s supported me through everything – going to college, moving to the UAE. None of this would have been possible without him.”
